Inam

Forests shrouded in mist and silver birches glowing inthe moonlight are the subjects of Inam's exquisite andatmospheric oil paintings which blend colours andtextures to mesmerising effect. Born and brought up in Karachi, Pakistan, Inam learnedthe fundamentals of sketching and painting at a youngage. An influential art teacher ensured he was given asolid technical and creative grounding, and encouragedhim to pursue his outstanding talent. Keen to absorb asmuch of the world as he could, he travelled and attendedthree very different art schools in London, Istanbul andAtlanta, Georgia. From each of these he took awaysomething specific, both in terms of inspiration anddiscipline and they all played an integral role in forminghis future style. Inam now lives in the United States. Although he hasbeen painting from childhood, he debuted as aprofessional artist in 2001.
