Originally created in 1976, Dalí applies his surrealist touch to the mythical figure of Lady Godiva, depicting her voluptuous female form in a light and delicate style, riding a white stallion with butterflies heralding her presence. Dalí once more adds his own unique interpretation to a classical image, paying everlasting homage to the female form.
